Thank you for giving me an opportunity to help you with your mortgage! To get started, there are 3 steps we need you to complete to guarantee the most accurate pre-approval for you. Below is an overview of each step with a link for each.
Step 1: The Do-Not-Call List
Unfortunately, anyone pulling their credit for a mortgage has a potential risk of being spam called by multiple predatorial online lenders. Although this link does not 100% guarantee you will not be spam called, it will greatly reduce the chances and amount of potential spam. However, if you do receive any spam calls/emails, please ignore (it is usually only for a day or two).
Step 2: Credit Report
A full credit report is needed to give you an accurate Pre-Approval decision. You will be prompted to enter a few base questions (no need in completing the information listed as "optional". This will be entered in Step 3 of the Application. You will also be required to make a payment of $68. This is not an extra fee or "Application fee" of any sort. You will receive a full copy of your own credit report and the $68 will be DEDUCTED from your final closing costs, versus being charged at closing.
Step 3: Mortgage Application
For an accurate and quick pre-approval, make sure to complete the application completely. Anything you are unsure of, feel free to skip and move on throughout the application until completion. There will potentially be additional documents we need prior to closing, but please upload the following at a minimum:
- Driver's License & Social Security Card
- 30 days worth of paystubs (if self-employed, a YTD Profit & Loss Statement instead)
- 2 most recent years of W2’s (if self-employed, 2 most recent Tax Returns)
- Most recent Bank Statement from the account(s) you plan to use for the Cash to Close.
